Producer / Mix Engineer




James has a custom built residential studio, based in a 19th century Victorian Bank, in Hull, UK.

The studio has a unique feel with natural light throughout, a 7m x 4m live room, amp room, vocal booth and control room.

The acoustically treated control room is equipped with ATC Monitoring, a vintage analogue desk, classic outboard gear and state of the art audio software.

A wide array of instruments are available to use - including a Young Chang grand piano and a selction of drums, percussion, guitars and amps.

The accommodation includes a kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms (2 x double beds + 1 single bed).

James Kenosha is a Record Producer and Mix Engineer based in Yorkshire, UK.

With over 500 million streams and a recent No 1 album mix credit (Pastel - Souls In Motion), James has a production style that combines both organic and modern elements and his mixes are known for their big, warm and contemporary sound.

Production and mix credits include artists such as RHODES, Cian Ducrot, Birdy, Gavin James, Meghan Trainor, Charlotte Plank, Pulled Apart By Horses and Dry The River.

Now based in Hull, James has a custom-built residential studio in a three-storey 19th Century Bank, and is involved in many exciting projects with new artists such as Pastel, Len Blake and Isaac Levi.
